<<And besides, you only pay for these guys when you use a "full-service" broker. Those of us using discounters by-pass all of that fluff (and expense).>>

Chuzz: Great comments on the analysts....At times I even listen to them (and maybe even learn from them) BUT I am not a big fan of "full service" brokers. I keep most of my money at Schwab and they treat me very well -- recently they even upgraded me to a Platinum Account. More and more of us are taking responsibility for our own investing and there are many places to go for research and information. Analysts are just one source of input <G>.

When it comes to DELL the analysts seem to be viewing the company's prospects in a more positive light. In the last 48 hours I have read new Cowen and Piper Jaffray reports that were VERY bullish about DELL's future prospects. Of course that doesn't guarantee anything BUT these firms have met with management, have a lot of information, and have quite a good track record.

Thanks again for sharing your insights and good luck investing.

Best Regards,

Scott

Prof. Paul, just to let you know that I'm a non-matriculated student at the Paul Levy Virtual School of Business. What I learned about money management from the Professor Emeritus, saved my lunch and shirt several times already. A couple of survival posts did it for me.

Have you updated the full price of these stocks that you follow? If so, please do me a big favor by posting it here or sending it by PM.

If the truth does not offend you, CSCO was dismissed early at 61.1875 and DELL played hooky at 44 twice.

The constructive thought, time, and effort you put into this working paper is particularly commendable, profitable and deeply appreciated.

The 2 X 2 that hit me hard on the head, reminding me of the plumbing job the previous quarter:

This summer will be long and hot, but this 99-year-old student is eager to learn more and ready to come to class as time permits.

Many thanks for your insights and the quality of your posts. Please keep them up. You are doing something right.

There's nothing I can offer in return except my best wishes and prayers for you, Maxine and family.

Sincerely,

Bennie
