e-DOCS.net Signs Agreement with Dell Computer

Dell to Manufacture and Support Computer Systems for Nationwide VoiceCOMMANDER® 99 Service

Houston, TX (July 12, 1999) -- e-DOCS.net announced today an agreement with Dell Computer to manufacture and support computers for VoiceCOMMANDER® 99, e-DOCS' Internet-based medical transcription system. The agreement includes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week support for e-DOCS clients utilizing Dell computer systems.

"e-DOCS has a compelling value proposition for healthcare providers, and is a good example of an Internet-enabled new business opportunity," said Louise O'Brien, Vice President of Dell's Industry Solutions Group. "We believe Dell's broad e-commerce capabilities and strong execution fit well with e-DOCS' vertical marketing focus."

Tim Connolly, Chairman & CEO of e-DOCS added, "This agreement with Dell significantly lowers the implementation cost of our medical transcription systems. We are proud to provide our physicians and transcriptionists with Dell quality and support."

About e-DOCS.net

e-DOCS.net recently launched its flagship system, VoiceCOMMANDER 99, the technology leading, Internet-driven solution for physicians burdened with increasing regulatory and payor demands for accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters. The VoiceCOMMANDER 99 Handheld Digital Recorder enables doctors to freely dictate their patient notes anywhere, anytime - from the hospital, to the clinic, to the car.

The VoiceCOMMANDER 99 secure e-commerce medical transcription service utilizes the Internet and proprietary voice recognition technology to pre-process doctor's dictation into written text. It then encrypts and transmits both the doctor's original voice recording and the un-edited text via the Internet to the e-DOCS.net server. The editing process is completed and reviewed by e-DOCS.net transcriptionists who return an accurate, re-encrypted, fully edited e-document to the doctor in 24 hours or less. VoiceCOMMANDER 99 will be implemented into e-DOCS.net's growing network of transcription companies to provide a common technology and operations platform, which should result in substantial savings to physicians and the Company.
