KM, If you have access to Forbes' online articles, could you look and see if there is an article by John Gorham on 'Daytrading & Direct Access software', published sometime in the past 8 weeks? He must have called a half-dozen times in the process of chasing down his story, & I would like to read it. It's possible that it's not out yet.

Yes, "the odds are stacked against you," and always have been.... Having a "central limit order book" is one solution, but that will never get approved: the MMs aren't going to shoot themselves in the head.
