Yeah- Brazil was fantastic visually- but I'd like to get in my brain with a spoon and dig it out. I just found it too disturbing. Brain space is precious- why fill it with horrible things that bother you? If one likes Brazil and feels good about watching it - hooray. Different strokes for different folks. I feel the same way about the horror genre afficianados. That stuff is not for me. Unpleasant to the max. But some horror films are masterpieces- they are just not for me.
