the real hard part will be whether or not AL raises rates in Aug and thus we would continue on the deflationary path instead of the inflationary one and we'd want to dump our gold and buy bonds.. the market appears to be saying (and I agree) that there is no way in hell Easy Al will raise rates after a stock crash thus we will choose the inflationary path and the rest of the world will recover at our expense and inflation in the US will soar when Japan heats up.

AL is a doormat.. its his pattern. so we'll get some type of stock rally after the AUg meeting when sir easiness does nothing.
