I agree. In todays warped business climate, any company that does not go public is doomed to failure. With an endless supply of capital offered by the equity markets, any company who manages to go public first can destroy all the competition by selling products or services at a loss.

I think this is THE most fundamental change to ever occur in capitalism. The success of a business now solely depends on a popularity contest in the stock market. Fundamentals no longer have ANY bearing on a company's viability. All that matters is that a company goes public as quickly as possible.

Is anyone else but me worried about the basic structure of this new paradigm?? It stands to pervert the very essence of capitalism.
