I assume you know that bid is usually the price the MM will give you for the stock and ask is usually what he'll sell the stock to you for. Where there is no volume figure, that is the best quote (bid & ask) and the size that the quote is good for. Add 2 zeros to the size, i.e. 50x50 is really 5,000x5,000. Where there is a volume figure that is a transaction and the price of the transaction is a guide, AND ONLY A GUIDE, as to whether it is a buy (the ask) or a sell (the bid). bert
