Wow--no denying the bandwidth there (and response time was right snappy too!). O.K. you're off the hook till tomorrow. BTW, the Morse Code 'station' that was mothballed was in Half Moon Bay, CA (about 15 miles south of San Francisco, on the coast). I listened to an interview with the operator while doing the morning commute thing and he was 1/4 nostalgic, and 3/4 enthusiastic about all the new communication options available to ships at sea. I think the MC had wanted him to burst into tears--instead he raved about Global Positioning Satellites. Life do indeed move on. best, mike

Frank:

Same sleep bodily functions here on the West coast, only 3 hours later -- real time. Time join the wife & cats. However, my mind is still clear enough to conclude that Grubman knew where he wanted to end up before he went thru his supposed analysis of the NY Times article, which I read earlier today.

Let it be known that Mr. Grubman's first & foremost priority is recommend stocks for his firm's clients. Gee, is that WCOM I see on the top of his list?

We can discuss the real issues of the article tomorrow. Good night
