Robert, The advantage for RealNetowrks was that its product, the Real Player, is browser dependent, not OS dependent. As long as there is Netscape, Microsoft can't run a well-established plug-in off of the market. At least, it's a lot harder than running a Windows application off of the market, such as Lotus 123 and Word Perfect. Now with the additional internet appliances platforms, RealPlayer may last forever, as long as it upgrades its technology. Whether this justifies RealNetwork's stock price is a different story. Khan
