Your right, the INTC miss has ZERO impact for MSFT. While fundamentally you're right, psychologically you're wrong. If people dump Intel tomorrow, and it's still not clear if they will, all the tech stocks will suffer collateral damage. A year from now no one will notice, but tomorrow may be a little painful. I hope not, as probably 3/4 of my equity assets are in the technology arena. Hey, at 35 (36 if you read this after midnight) and with a three-month-old daughter I need to be invested in the true growth sector of our economy.
