Hey Glenn, does it bother you that all the diamonds in the world come from a company
that has been banned from doing business on American shores? I mean, flying to london
twice a year to get your supply must be a royal pain.

KIS,

De Beers has 80% of the world market. That is close enough to a monopoly for me. I really do not mind traveling if it is not overdone.

Personally, I would have liked the diamonds made by the General Electric plasma
division. Perfect diamonds up to the size of a walnut, in any color you want. Strangely
enough, GE suddenly cancelled that division, and all the former employees retired as
millionaires. On PBS special, a reporter tried to interview the head of the defunt
division, but he just sped away in his jaguar.
