Stewart: A long, long time ago (I believe back in October), I said that if Yahoo got to 300,000 auctions by a certain date, that they would pose a real threat to eBay. (They didn't get there by that date, and then eBay had all that dramatic growth in the first quarter.) But I do believe that eBay's easy growth is behind them, and that the company now has to buckle down and get that engine going. Yes, Yahoo has surprised me quite a bit over the past few months. I'm still not sure what it means, or how serious the buyers and sellers are on Yahoo auctions, or the success rate of the auctions. --Doug
