By the way, how did China.com get a 5 letter ticker symbol on the Nasdaq?

The fifth letter is normally reserved for a status indicator, such as "Q" (as in BOSTQ) to signify bankruptcy, or W for warrants, or X for a mutual fund.

I guess if you pay the Nasdaq enough money, you can have a symbol different than anyone else!
