Floyd,

I too have thought about lightening up, but I think we'll have a
gradual rise in the stock price over the next few months, and want to
participate in it! I think we'll see some good strength within the
next two weeks, based on positive press. I also think it won't be
too long before we see a significant upturn in NG pricing. If that
is coupled with continuing strength in oil then we'll see some BIG
stock gains.

Did anyone notice that the 10-Q for Q2 was filed yesterday? That
has to be a record, and shows just how much of a hurry the company
is in. Encouraging. I want them to start converting some of those
reserves into earnings this year!

Not much juice in the 10-Q. They paid down less debt this quarter than
Q1, but retained the increased cash-flow as working capital. (Probably
sensible). Earl is going to step down from the CEO role (though
will retain the Chairman's position). They want to appoint a new
CEO by year's end. It sounds as if they are thinking of an outsider
(they could easily have promoted Terry from COO and just announced
as much).

A thought occured to me. Do you think SFY are looking at a big
acquisition or a merger? There is enough evidence to suggest this
could be a possibility. (The fund raising; the haste of all this;
the fact that the CEO position is now free; and SFY's acquisitional
history). What is also interesting is that we seem to have had some
quiet accumulation of the stock in the last few weeks on dips -
especially late last week - almost like someone is in the know.
Hum.
