<< NN said they didn't know what caused the market activity. However, they didn't say they were comfortable with the quarter.>>

That is an excellent point, not unlike "damning with faint praise."

P.,

RE: "... or online brokers (like our friend Ian, who sold his NN to enter this market and will give us timely reports of his successes)." ...

I think you may have misunderstood my motivation for selling yesterday.

I'm still a Newbridge bull in terms of the company's fundamentals. Nothing whatsoever has changed there.

I'm just tired of fighting the street on this one.

I still believe that NN will outperform the market from its current price. I just have no confidence that that will happen any time soon.

And re timely reports on this thread of my other successes, it wouldn't be wise to hold one's breath waiting. I hate off topic posts from people hyping some other company. When I want to find out something about it, I can visit that thread. I suspect that most readers of this thread prefer information specific to NN.

If anybody wants to check the relative performance of TWE and NN, here's the link.

Today was nice. I have no idea what will happen tomorrow. I just suspect that TWE will fit my "buy and hold" style better than NN did.

That doesn't make NN a "bad" stock. Nor does it make TWE a good one.

FWIW,
Ian.

i am doing balancing act with my stock choices.
significantly trying to play stocks with large upside but realistically lower down side. NN imho has about 25% downside, and about 100% upside in the next 1-18months. For this reason i have put some of my chips on NN.

Inuts are crazy. rbaks, jnpr etc almost as crazy.
