Naw, I already cleaned the roller ball and forwarded lint and hair to Fairy's Ostrich Ranch. -g-

I took it apart and there is a plastic wheel that passes through a couple of posts that must electronically pick up movement like some sort of miniature tachometer. The pick ups must be going out so I squished them closer to the wheel and things seem to work ok now. -g- A new mouse will probably cost more than a whole E-machine. -s-
