Something needs to stop the Bush juggernaut. If Algore and Bradley beat each other up in the primary and Bush has a cakewalk to the nomination, then the survivor on the Dem side is going to be overwhelmed by the Bush warchest in the general election. There won't be any Chinese campaign cash this time. Too much heat to risk it. They know money is what makes successful campaigns. On the Repub side, the Smith thing could lead to a replay of the Perot thing that guaranteed Bubba's election and re-election and the flowering of that criminal enterprise in the WH. Forbes could give Bush some trouble since he's not limited financially. If I was Bush, I'd make a deal with Forbes and let the Dems beat each other up. That would about guarantee a Repub reclaiming of the WH. Bush could be a good transition figure and might restore some semblance of integrity to the office of POTUS. JLA
