Calm down folks, we have been here before. G* and the partners still need to execute (pun intended!) the business plan. They need to fill up the system. NOW! I still think the fixed phones could be big for G* and the service providers. The SPs could say "We are building out our cellular infrastructure like mad, but it will take some time to get to you." They could plop down a fixed phone and say "Here use this and fall in love with the wireless technology, we have cheaper stuff on the way." At which time they could drag their feet as much as they want. Everyone wins. The people in the sticks get connected, the SPs get revenue, G* gets revenue, we get the usage numbers up, the street loves it and we all retire. Gee - it seems so straight forward to me! Jeff Vayda
