Yeah, my kids are happy. Wish I would have joined them in my account!!! I just walked inthe door and was taking a quick look around. A lot of my short targets are approaching their target areas where I planned on starting to leg in but I am not sure yet since the market seems to be trading strange. Probably option expiration. I saw a lot of losers move up today and a lot of good stocks edge down. I was hoping everyone was unwound already but I am no longer sure.

A few of my longs are also starting to look good but I am still blind since my data won't be ready for a few more hours so I want to see how they look on the charts and what signals my system gives. I missed a good trade on one that I was sure my system was wrong about. 10% in two days and up again today. Maybe I should just close my eyes and start trading each trigger I get? <ggg>

To the poster who warned me about shorting INTC, I wasn't talking about that one although it is on my watch list and it was targeted at today's closing price this weekend. I don't post my trades on SI until I have exited them although at times I will enter them on a different thread. I am a lousy stock picker and usually enter a trade too early since my system always seems to be ahead of the game. Therefore, I don't feel comfortable posting my trades on a thread that 1. isn't meant for that purpose and 2. where I am trying to contribute over all market reads and not stock reads. I only mention stocks on this thread as examples of what I am seeing in the broader market in the way of sentiment, logic, or lack of logic. I do tend to stick with favorites though like MU going up despite the fact that they finally gave up trying to lie all the time and openly stated they will lose money and will have a worse quarter than the last earnings release. Today, companies that beat earnings dropped like Ford, MOT while companies that missed like INTC shot upwards. I know these are isolated exaamples since AAPL is up in after hours after doing very well but I feel it is necessary to point out the outlandish when it occurs.

Not much to contribute yet due to my not seeing much. With the NASDAQ rising today, I will probably either have to change my trendlines or else this was the pop before the drop which is doubtful in light of AAPL's results.

Good Luck,

Lee
