So, to someone like myself, who is trying to grasp all these terms, and there effect on the network and security. I believe what your saying is, that DSL is indeed more secure? Am I interpreting your post correctly? This is what I was told by the Bellsouth Phone installer and the tech who came out to actually install the internal hardware and software. That DSL is more reliable as well as more secure. If the installers are doing there job properly I should be as secure as is possible in today's internet environment. I know that I would not want my phone, PC and TV on cable. If the cable goes down your completely out of business. Just my personal opinion. Enjoy your SPEED and Reliability!
