BB:MDTK) Wednesday announced that it has released Version 3.0 of e-MedSoft.com, the
company's pioneering subscription-based Internet-enabled health-care software.
Version 3.0 includes modifications and enhancements that improve performance and functionality in
virtually every one of e-MedSoft.com's applications, including Patient Registration, Eligibility,
Referrals, Scheduling, Master Patient Index, Electronic Medical Records, Billing, Claims, Benefits
Coordination, Contract Management, Fraud and Abuse Control, and Financial Reporting.
In addition, e-MedSoft.com is now configured so that it can be accessed through any Internet
mobile appliances. Further, it now includes business-to-business commerce applications that provide
online purchasing solutions for the provider and the supplier for ordering, inventory control and
general administration.
The e-commerce applications have been expanded to support online purchasing of medical books,
journals, periodicals, equipment and supplies. Included in this version is online leasing for medical
equipment and personal financial services for medical professionals. Additionally, users can
subscribe to a personalized medical search facility that monitors global medical resources and notifies
the user of selected information that has become available for review.
