someone noticed the kill switch wasn't clipped in.

I've done that, the stupid way! I actually had it connected properly to the switch and life jacket, then when I stood up to fish and took off the jacket the connector pulled loose and stayed connected to the life jacket. When it was time to move, I don't need no life jacket, I'm only going down the shore, but it won't crank. Checked all the battery connections, opened the cowling looking for loose wires, swapped a trolling motor battery for the main(i have jumper cables now) nothing. Then by accident or luck I moved the life jacket and theres this extra coiled wire thing hanging there, what's this??
DOH!!!
