OT: Lee, since by your own admission you know little about computers:) I would suggest that wherever you buy your laptop, you buy one from a company with good phone support customer service so that you can get help if you have any problems. It it was me, I would probably order from Dell. I don't how it works for laptops, but for my son's new computer, I bought the 3 yr. in-home warranty for $99. I had this for my Gateway and it came in very handy when my processor and modem both quit and had to be replaced. What could have been a very expensive repair didn't cost me a thing. FWIW, Debra
