I guess I can't agree about holding back the economy without liquidity etc because so very much of this economy is fueled by stock market wealth...I had read an article two years ago saying that so much of the money being borrowed was just going into financial vehicles rather than in investments in companies.. again there are always cycles and money follows money..so ie with the technology that has created the internet...big money would eventually have gone into it ...etc..progress fuels an economy..new technology etc.. government manipulation causes the boom and bust cycle I think because they put artificial props in..and create extremes.. but I can't prove a thing.. just the way I see it..
