That's funny. I was looking through a file that has "life tidbits and experiences" in it (Fui is snuffeling my left hand with her wet nose ~ it's cold and damp and she likes to run it all up and down the outside of my hand; she really likes it when I type, and she butts her head into my hand, so I push back harder, try to deflect her away so I can get to the left side of the keyboard, and she likes that even more, and pushes harder, and I have to push harder to keep the lane open, and she pushes harder and now she's shoving me down into CTRL and the Windows and Shift button, and we all know what kind of terror that creates, and so I have to try to lift up, as well as type, words like "as", which you'll notice is Over There, and all these pushing and shoving and rising and fallings are what she likes, and the muscle on the top of my left arm is getting burny hot and sore. Ow. It's really starting to hurt. She won't stop.)

Okay. I moved. I am smarter than she.

So I found this note in that file taped to a piece of paper. It came off of the refrigerator. I saved it, because I think it's funny, but it might not be.

MJ and I had had an argument about something. I woke up the next morning and there was this note on the fridge. The top part (she wrote, in schoolteacher handwriting) says:

In my experience
you behave in
an irrational and
stubborn way when
you are angry.

Then, below it, is the nice simple response I left her:

oh stuff it.
