Heard no word on LQID and CDNW. . .But I can tell you this. . . record companies are more interested in Liquid Audio, due to their encoding. . .than Real Audio or MP3. They also like A.T. and T./Lucent version of encoded music. . . . but are working on standardization.

If Liquid Audio gets a chunk of the standardization licensing. . . they are headed skyward. . . though that is a real gamble. . .no indication of such at this point.
