Well, SYMC bought the IBM AV customer database, and part of the deal is probably that IBM sales reps recommend SYMC to customers. But SYMC is weak on the server side (no AIX support, I don't even think they have something good for Lotus Notes) so I think they will have a hard time servicing IBM's larger customers.

And how does Sequent tie in with NETA exactly? I thought they were in the big server business.

All in all I think Bill L. will probably try to avoid being bought anyway.
