Nice call, John. Congradulations!

I don't think this is due to anything more than wider exposure due to coverage in the Journal and on CNBC. Actually, I think the secrecy agreement turned out to be a brilliant public relations move by Kopin. For five months optimistic investors fantasized about the big contract and bid the stock up. Then, they finally revealed the identity of the customer and got another boost.

The WSJ reporter, Bulkeley, is stretching a bit with the "Made in the U.S.A." angle. Two critical steps in the fabrication of the display, the IC and the lift-off/transfer process, are not necessarily being done in the U.S. Kopin pays UMC to do the circuit, and who knows how or with whom they're doing the lift-off (with high quality, at a reasonable price). The latter is the most significant innovation embodied in the CyberDisplay, imo.
