In the case of RIM GMcB is by far the dominant trader on the stock because a) they placed the financing and b) they probably have the best analytical info on the company and c) they can give the buyers and sellers the best execution as a result of a) and b). <<How did you know the Canadian funds are selling? >> They did the same thing on Cinar. They were mostly out before it reached high levels. That is the nature of the beast: Canadian investors are uncomfortable with US type valuations. As for my sources, well I talk to all sorts of people on the street all day.
