The probability of picking the exact point at which a stock will encounter a sharp reversal by random chance is astronomical, but TA predicted the two reversals at 35 on the button, months ahead of time. It even predicted the eventual break above 35 by the ascending triangle formation. The problem with TA is that everyone who reads a $10 book thinks they are an expert. Most have no idea what they are talking about. Even modern medicine practiced by quacks equates to voodoo, but that doesn't mean modern medicine isn't a legitimate practice.
