In PnF we look at the full day range of the day - the high and the low. Doesn't matter what time they are hit. If it hit 5.5 today it will show a spread quad top break (going from memory).

Again, PnF does not go by closing price. What does it matter if you think about it? It's more important to see what range the stock made and whether or not that range reversed the stock down or moved it higher on the chart. Close price doesn't truly reflect supply and demand.
