Washington state's successful experience in dealing with the FY 2000 rollover. Some very significant systems were involved. The transition was flawless.

<no major problems erupted> Sorry to burst your bubble but you pollyannas keep disregarding several key factors that negate or vastly over- emphesize the importance of those kinds of statements.

1. who was expecting major disruptions on the various key dates this year? A number of top y2k experts STATED that they did NOT !!!

2. Who stated that non-embedded systems could bring down the grid?
How many embedded systems will crash prior to December? How many tests are being/have been run on them to the present?

3. How many failed software tests have occurred that will never be known? how many problems will occur weeks to months after the fact?

4. What about re-corruptibility of x % of those systems guininely passing muster so far?

I know, I know, you won't respond to any of these points...
OK, I am ready for you to find some article to post instead.... just please don't make them too long.....
