re: gold mining in China
the quote
"(2) More than 20% of gold ore is low grade ore, which is, technically, difficult to be processed, leading to low utilization rate" shows what I remembered from classes to still be true, I was hoping they had not uncovered any new big killer strikes. I had been told the only reason they can produce gold there is low cost of labor (and at times a high cost of gold). Was also told that their "good cheap" gold was mined out before the birth of Christ. I was also told this the same case with 85% of silver in Asia & Europe.
