Elmer,

Depending on if you can wait a week or two, go for a G400Max.. incredible card..

(and it has an openGL ICD).

If you read the benchmarks you will see the g400 has the most head room to grow of any card on the market at the moment. (i.e. it will become fill rate limited AFTER the tnt-2 and v3).

Steve

Elmer, <Here's your chance to say something nice Ali, what would you recommend?>
My "random word generator" does not have a "nice" mode.
Only "R", which stands for "rude" I guess.
Therefore:
As a true Intel loyalist, you have no choice.
Your company and therefore yourself have heavily invested
in i740, so to recover some cost you need go ahead and
buy any i740 junk. This will guarantee you full AGP
hardware compatibility and all necessary
software patches. Enjoy.

Elmer,
The 3Dfx Voodoo3 3000 may not be a AGP card. I know it doesn't do it all on AGP. I just threw a few names out there for you to go look at.
