Jim, we should let the rest of SI'ers into the secret of ADSL. Our local Telco has now revolutionized the 'net by offering ADSL at Ca$40 / month , unlimited use/ plus a small amount of free dial up for roaming. Not to be confused with Cable , it is a true 1.5 Mmb/s service with NO modem charge and only $50 install. They will be offering video movies on demand , office lan connection etc down the road. Oh yeah, it goes over your existing line so you can use both at the same time, or cancel a line if you pay for two now. NO BRAINER;-)
