I hope you have mild winters...and like fresh air.
Mr. Croc walking in from work-- "Oh no! NO! Croc, I said no picture windows in the bathroom, damn it."

Our putative "new house" has no windows at all on the east side, which is puzzling because it doesn't face any other houses, it's on a corner, and the lots are quite large. The nearest house on the east side is hundreds of feet away. I would love to chop holes and put in picture windows, but the walls are brick. Real brick, not brick facing on stud walls. But that's not going to stop me. No, Mr. Blue is going to stop me, or at least do his best. I am a dreamer, and he is a wet blanket. He would say, I am impractical, and it's his job to keep me from doing irrational things. We have our roles down pat.<g>

I would also like to open up the living room ceiling (it's on the second floor) and finish the attic so we have a cathedral ceiling, and put in skylights. I love light.
