Very true, there is no official whisper
number. I agree with what you said about
how and why stock acts after earning too.
However, I would also second what joe
said about not making decision based on
just the after hour trading. I did that
once and was dead wrong, I paid my tuition.

yes there is a general consensus among brokers

just like earnings estimate, depends who does it.

The whisper number must have been changing this morning since the stock went down to 86 then climbing back to 92.

Don't worry about this number. Only two things are important here: The prospect of the company and the momentum of the stock. Both are still positive right now. Hold on your stock. Don't sell.
