OT-partially Yup, IR shots in non-critical apps make sense. BTW, dual transmissions in two channels, 850 nm and 1330 nm, have been with us for quite some time. Tis Po-boys WDM ;-) and now LU makes it go full DWDM. The laws of physics still apply and now they are are a bit more stringent. Can't beat the seagulls and pigeons tho. I've been quite for a while--got a real job that requires full attention once in a while ;-)) I've been following you around SI.
