["our software is included with IBM's Internet services"]
This has not received much attention but has the potential to be huge. The perception people have about IBM services is that it is all enterprise directed towards glass house mainframe environments and though they get huge revenues from that area IBM also sells Internet services to the small and medium business sector. This is the area of high end PC based servers, AS/400 and the Unix/Risc offerings. There was a post recently on the IBM thread which related a situation with a Dell customer who wanted to get into E@Commerce and Dell had no way to put the package together. IBM came in set it up no problem. Now if NTOP's offerings are bundled into these IBM Internet services offerings when IBM leaves the customer has an E@Commerce implementation that includes all of the NTOP offerings. NTOP enjoys an exponential increase in their customer base. And E@Commerce implementation will be a number one focus for all sizes of businesses as we move into next year. It not only loads NTOP onto new PC shipments from vendors such as Compaq but also into the existing PC infrastructures of businesses and their customers. This is ubiquity squared.
