I agree. I have seen no press coverage on the open access issue in my area. I called SHAW Cable to ask about open access, but they said it was too early to say (I only spoke to a minion). I am definitely going to keep my ear to the ground looking for other ISPs in my area offering cable service. It would not surprise me if a year from now, there are none.
