you're right,, all we know is that pleconaril reduced the average duration of Viral Respiratory Infection "common cold" from 14 to 11 days. Whether or not pleconaril inhibits viral entry completely (which is very unlikely considering the infinite # of viral strains) has not been clinically demonstrated. So it is a bit premature to be discussing additions to VPHM's already bloated market cap. IMHO

btw,, three 400mg pills in one day seems a bit much...unless you're a horse of course..lol


All randomized patients who received
400 mg of pleconaril three times daily experienced a greater than 3 day reduction in the median time to complete elimination of disease
symptoms (11 days versus more than 14 days, p = 0.01)
