Actually, John, I think under FASB and GAAP, all convertible bonds, in the money or not, must be included in the diluted share count.

It's only out-of-the-money employee stock options that need not be included - but I think that is about to change soon.

I would second the motion that Cube should recall the bonds. It will clear some of the shorted stock and along with the interest savings should help propel the stock price higher. Here is more on converts from MSCC thread for those who are interested. exchange2000.com
