Edwarda, a wonderful post. I can only hope I have 1 tenth as much positive influence on my little girl. Little girls are absolutely adorable, I couldn't imagine loving something any deeper than my little Katie.

You've also expressed beautifully in only a couple of sentences why I always thought radical feminists had a screw loose.

A very touching anecdote, Edwarda, and I believe you when you say that you didn't need to be a radical feminist. But might not that be in part because your father was willing to say something that was quite radical for (what?) the early 60s?
