>>IN the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. <<

Is it possible the original word was in .... Hebrew? That is what would make Hebrew more significant than the other languages.

On names:

It is, however, just as silly to use Iesus as Yeshua in an English
speaking nation. Maybe you believe it releases some magical power when
concepts are written in Hebrew letters or transliterated with English
letters?

Yeshua is Aramaic, not Hebrew. Aramaic was the language spoken by most people in Palestine during Jesus's time. So when his contemporaries spoke his name, "Yeshua" would be what came out of their mouth. I presume that may be why some people use that form of the name.

The Hebrew form of the name Jesus/Yeshua is Yehoshua.

But this is America where we speak English! Don't you think you guys
would have a little sensitivity to the English speaking people.

The English form of the name Yehoshua/Yeshua/Jesus is Joshua.

Jesus is the Greek (and Spanish) form of the name.
