Jay,
I am with you re: Deferred revs. That looks a little weak, but I would not call it troubling at this time. This figure has nicely grown in the last 4 quarters or so, though, so it's a change in pattern.

I checked the Research sheet on Yahoo for RATL, and it showed that in 06/98, RATL reported figures just in line with est., so no upside surprise at all one year ago, this time it's still 1 cent... I will dig out the press release of 06/98 and check how Deferred revs fared back then, but it quite well could be seasonality.

Getting beyond the immediate future, I thnk the recent deal with IBM will prove very valuable over the long term and is a big endorsement IMO. So longer term, RATL is still looking good as ever. I have no current plans to sell my shares.

Also total revenues, especially licence sales were very strong this qtr. Costs were relatively higher, but we know they have been expanding headcount and "positioned themselves to become a much bigger company in the future", if I recall Levy correctly from last qtr conf call <g>.

The conf call no. is posted on the Yahoo board on msg# 5350. I haven't listended in yet. I copied details below:

Bye for now,
