I don't like that at all. And my sister has had a terrible time trying to get certain care that would make a big difference to her life and health because the *decision* by the office people is that it isn't... something. I forget what. Her doctors have fought with her, writing letters and calling and arguing and it's been to no avail. She's not worth the $10,000 in their opinion. And that's what it comes down to for me. She can continue to be in much greater danger of dying from an insulin reaction every time she takes a shot, she can continue to have to moniter her blood sugar several times a day and still not be able to dose just right because it's so squirrely, and be in danger of lapsing into a diabetic coma and dying because she ain't worth a pump that they could insert in her. Asses.
