From tonite's release:

"...went on to announce that the premiere broadcast for
BingoTelevision, a three-hour Monday through Friday series, has been moved up to Sept. 27th at the request of sponsors and television stations to coincide with the Neilsen's sweep period beginning Sept. 30, 1999..."

From July 1,1999

"...by the time the BingoTelevision's show begins its 3 hour daily broadcast on Aug. 2, 1999..."

They obviously changed course mid-stream. Maybe to focus more attention initially on AuctionT.V.? I don't like these "surprises"...

Re: Last night's PR

I noticed that it does not show up on Yahoo!, but is on Quicken and Bloomberg.....anybody know why?

Secondly, what does the following paragraph "mean" or imply:

"Jim Primm of JB Broadcasting expressed his company's view that by broadcasting the series AuctionsTelevision it brings a new dimension to each of the TV station's programming efforts and will expand the viewership currently carried by Time Warner, Cablevision, Cox, Americable, Comcast, Charter and the Falcon cable systems."

In particular, "...viewership currently carried by Time Warner,...." What is he saying....that he hopes to gain viewers that are currently watching the cable channels? Does this mean that currently, only two stations (JB's) will carry the program?

Just confused and wondering?
