Why would China jump on Taiwan now when China can wait till year Jan 1, 2000 when it has full/complete operational control of the Panama Canal on both ends for $22.2 million. China has first bid on all our military bases there also to include Howard. Panama has no army so what can they say to China which has already 200,000 china people in Panama.

It will be hard to support both worlds if the canal is closed to military ships.
