hey doug,

definitely a good thing to do. good routine maintenance. using netscape, i go right into explorer and delete the cookie file in the user file. first i open it to see all the crap i'm about to 86. makes me feel better about deleting it. the cookie file is a regenerating file. it never lasts longer than 3 days on my system. <g3> i also clear disk and memory cache and history in the advanced preferences settings on netscape.

keeps things moving along nicely.

:)

hey doug,

re: " If anyone is going to try this, leave index.dat, Mm2048.dat, and Mm256.dat. alone."

i see those three files in a separate cookies file. tell me more about why i have to leave them alone?

thanks.

:)
