<<I gotta cable modem>> I had my cable modem in one day and then returned the pos. My cable company only downloads at 256bps and uploads over the telephone line. Cable modem suffered from the "ET syndrome" It always wanted to call home, even when not in use. No way will I allow a modem to demand it's own phone line, and cable line. Hoping Earthlink my current isp brings DSL to Ventura sooner or later. My cable company is hopeless. sure is a nice day Michael
